Keep track of every change to Salable.
We've given developers using the License Check Endpoint the ability to include a grace period. This is useful for allowing end users to continue using the app after their license expires. Useful for payment failures.
Developers can decide the number of days the licensee still returns active for after it's expired.
More info in the docs: https://developer.salable.app/welcome/terms/grace_period/
Previously it was only possible to add features at the start of the process during product creation. Once a plan had been created it was not possible to add more features. This made it difficult should plans change or features be released during your app development.
We worked hard to resolve this and launched the ability to add, remove and edit features even after plans had been created.
We felt developers needed their own space. Due to the nature of Salable and the type of users that may interact with the platform it was difficult to keep non-technical documentation and developer technical heavy documentation in one place. We decided to split these out.
Our docs site https://docs.salable.app will focus more on guides, how-tos and tips for vendors, product owners and business owners to get the most out of salable. whilst our developer hub https://developer.salable.app will be focused towards building apps with Salable, monetising and getting deep into technically how salable works and how to build with salable.
The developer docs includes our API reference docs, SDK tutorials and CLI helpers. It will also include guides, tutorials and content aimed towards building products.
We've launched our Salable Platform and API for developers with early access.
Super excited to open up access to our website, platform and API for users who show interest through our website.
Signing up to our website enables us to limit access whilst we're testing the new platform and infrastructure.
Soon as we're happy we've got a solid foundation we'll be publically opening up the platform.
